When you contact us: If you email hello@prelien.co or submit a form on our site, we collect your email address and any information you choose to provide. This is used only to respond to your inquiry.

When you use our tools: If you use Prelien's compliance tools (such as the preliminary notice generator, when available), we collect the project information you enter in order to provide the service. This may include your company name, address, license number, and project details.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, or payment card data directly. Payment processing, when applicable, is handled by third-party processors (such as Stripe) and is subject to their privacy policies.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Prelien platform
• To respond to your questions or support requests
• To send transactional communications related to services you've requested
• To monitor site performance and fix technical issues

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not send marketing emails unless you have explicitly opted in.

Contractor Data

All contractor data displayed on Prelien is sourced from the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) public records. This data is already publicly available. Prelien does not collect private data about contractors from any non-public source.

If you are a contractor and believe your public CSLB information is displayed in error on Prelien, contact us at hello@prelien.co and we will verify the record against current CSLB data.

Cookies

Prelien uses essential cookies for site functionality and may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels from ad networks.

Third-Party Services

Prelien may use the following third-party services:
